Washington Floricultural Association
Purpose & Mission Statements

The Washington Floricultural Association's purposes are to provide benefits to flower growers, producers of related floricultural products, retailers, and members of allied horticultural fields. This corporation functions as a trade association working to improve the conditions for the future of the industry through support for education, research, and public relations.

WaFlorA goals are to:

1) Present and promote the Greenhouse Managment Institute - GMI annually

2) Publish and distribute the WaFlora Directory

3) Organize activities to raise money for the scholarship fund to be awarded to students focused in the floricultural industry and related fields

4) Define and support selected research

5) Acknowledge and reward the outstanding individuals with the WaFlorA Cup

6) Increase WaFlorA membership

7) Cooperate with other organizations for mutual benefit and public relations
